Dan, the “Wrong ‘Un”, has been riding bikes since he was a kid. Given the choice between pocket money or petrol, he always went for the high octane choice. He’s been racing since 2004, when he joined the Yamaha Past Masters Club, winning the the YPM Rookie Championship.
A regular podium finisher, with a few wins under his belt, Dan is normally seen battling at the front utilising some “interesting” lines….. By this I mean going over rumble strips while the rest of the pack watches in amazement as he miraculously makes it around the corner.
2007 saw Dan finish 3rd in the TZR Tour Championship.
Ever on a weight conserving mission, his bike normally has holes in it’s holes. Where a tie-wrap can be used, he’ll use the skinniest, lightest one available.
For 2008 he'll have to restrain himself because he's bound by the power to weight ratio rules of the Thunderbike class.
